Peoria Prepares the Stage for Major Breakdancing Competition

PEORIA - Get
ready to dance, Peoria.
A wave of
dance crews is getting ready to hit the city. Rep
the Midwest is a break dancing competition set to hit the stage at the
Peoria Civic Center this Saturday.
It's a
break dancing competition that will feature the top talent in the Midwest. More
than 60 of the top "b-boy" crews in the nation and abroad will face
off in competition
It's
sponsored by City Dance Peoria. They say they want to introduce a positive
environment to local youth to grow and find a passion.
Rep the Midwest
opens its doors Saturday at 6 p,m. Tickets are ten dollars for spectators and
free for children under 12 years old.
