Diabetic Reaction Causes Driver to Crash into Apartment Building

BLOOMINGTON- An apartment building got slammed with an unexpected visitor Thursday.
A driver lost control of his van and ran into it.
The accident happened around 10:30 am in the 100 block of West Locust Street.
Police say the driver was temporarily trapped in the vehicle and taken to a local hospital.
Further investigation revealed he had a diabetic reaction while driving, and hit a parked car too.
He's expected to be okay.
No one else got hurt.
