WASHINGTON- A local art shop is sending snowflakes of support to the victims of Newtown, Connecticut.
The winter wonderland is being formed at the "Created Just by Me" studio in Washington.
From now until January sixth, people can stop in and make a snowflake for free.
The flurries will be hung at Chalk Hill School in Monroe, Connecticut.
It's the building students at Sandy Hook Elementary are moving into.
Jodi Adams, the owner of "Created Just by Me " says art is a way to help little ones cope.
She hopes to send 1,000 snowflakes to the students.
"I thought it would be fun to make it and create things for everybody and since we have the resources to do it. I thought it would be something special we could do to help out the cause," said Adams.
If you can't make it to the studio, "Created Just by Me" is also accepting donations.
