One of two Pontiac men, nabbed in connection with residential and vehicle burglaries over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, appeared in court Wednesday. A judge found probable cause during a preliminary hearing for 21 year old Brandan Somers who pleaded NOT GUILTY. Somers and 43 year old Gilbert Edwards were charged with two counts of burglary. Police say residences on Main Street were burglarized November 24th. Authorities say Edwards was in possession of stolen property at the time he was located. Subsequent investigation revealed stolen property located at Somers' residence. Somers is back in court in February. Edwards is due in court Thursday.
