Building Upgrades, Park Projects to begin in Normal

NORMAL- New projects and better looking buildings will soon be seen around town.
Monday, leaders accepted the community investment plan which includes 125 capital projects to be completed over the next five years.
The total cost is $55 million dollars.
Action items in 2013 include upgrades to the old city hall, a bridge replacement and park projects.
Leaders also have a time table for the new Hyatt hotel uptown.
Construction is set for next April, pending council approval at its December 17th meeting.
