Warmer Temperatures Have People Out Enjoying The Day

PEORIA-- Above average temperatures keep the coats off and residents outside enjoying the day.
December has so far been quite an odd month for weather. Temperatures have been considerably warmer than average and local businesses and residents aren't minding it.
River City Construction is working on a project off of Bryan Street in Downtown Peoria and foreman Mike Zimmerman says his crew is enjoying the warmth.
Golfers at Newman Golf Course were out by the numbers Monday. Steve Friedman was out with his friends Friday and again today. He says with weather as nice as today it's hard not to be on the course.
Bradley University students were taking breaks from studying for finals outside in the courtyard with short sleeve t-shirts and shorts!
The National Weather Service in Lincoln says the last time December opened with 60+ temperatures was in 1982.
