WMBD/WYZZ-TV - PEORIA, Ill. -- When Bradley hosts Michigan Saturday afternoon, the game will be big for more than just one reason.
The third-ranked Wolverines will be the highest ranked Bradley foe to ever play at the 30-year-old Peoria Civic Center. In fact, Michigan is the highest ranked non-conference team to ever play in Peoria.
Add the fact that the game is on national cable and you have the most talked-about contest on the BU schedule this season.
"it's a great opoprtunity for the university. It's also a great opportunity for the city," said Bradley coach Geno Ford. "Saturday afternoon at 3:00, you don't get that time slot on ESPN. Hopefully, we'll have a great crowd and have a great atmosphere."
Limited seating for the game at Carver Arena was still available as of Thursday night.
