Junior League to Host Victorian Christmas Celebration

PEORIA- A local organization is helping people get into the holiday spirit and help a good cause.
The Junior League is inviting people to step "back in time" and celebrate a Victorian style Christmas.
Their annual celebration takes place next weekend at the historic Ballance-Herschel house located on Randolph Avenue.
The spot is also the Junior League's headquarters.
This week members have been busy decorating the place in its holiday finest.
Those who come receive lunch, music and a Christmas tour.
"People come and are amazed by this beautiful home and the history behind all the decorations," said Lauren Burtscher.
The Victorian Christmas Celebration takes place Saturday December eighth.
Proceeds will benefit the organization.
