Washington Teen Pleads Guilty in Knox Co.

A Washington, Illinois teenager, arrested last August following a two county chase, pleaded guilty Monday in Knox County court just as his trial was to begin. 17 year old Isaiah Royer pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing and eluding while possession of a stolen car and trespass charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement. Those charges stem from an early morning chase which began in Washington and ended in East Galesburg. A Knox County deputy also fired shots at the fleeing vehicle but no one was hurt. Royer will be sentenced December 26th.
