Two Peorians Plead Guilty to Federal Drug Charges

Two of ten people, rounded up last July in Operation Blue Horse, which targets heroin distribution, pleaded guilty Monday in Peoria federal court, according to court officials. 53 year old Shirley Williams and 51 year old Lamar Burton of Peoria pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 100 grams of heroin over the past year. Both defendants will be sentenced March 26th and could face from five to 40 years in prison.
