PEORIA - Helping people in need this winter can get you a tasty treat.
It's part of the "Share the Warmth" campaign. Christian radio station WCIC is asking you to drop off coats, hats, gloves, scarves and boots at local Dairy Queen locations. When you do, you get a free ice cream cone.
"Throughout central Illinois so many people are facing tough, tight times and we want to just help them with this very necessary part of keeping your kids warm and providing for them."
You can drop off items at any Dairy Queen location before November 24th.
