Mason County Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charge

PEORIA- One of a dozen Mason County residents, rounded up in a meth bust
last summer, pleaded guilty in Peoria federal court Thursday. 28 year
old David A. Baughman of Havana pleaded guilty to a meth charge. He'll
be sentenced next March. He was arrested as part of Operation Copperhead
which was set up to uncover alleged meth rings. Since the beginning of
the year, nearly 85 people have been charged in federal court as part of
Operation Saddle Up or Operation Copperhead.
