Bartonville Stabbing Suspect in Jail

One man was hospitalized while a second man was taken to jail in connection with a stabbing Monday night in Bartonville. Police say 48 year old Adam Babcock was booked on attempted murder, unlawful use of a weapon and disorderly conduct but he has yet to be formally charged. Police say 49 year old Gregory Purcell was found with multiple stab wounds to the head, neck and chest. Police say he got into a fight at his home and then drove to a nearby gas station for help. That's where police found him.
