Illinois State University Professor Maribeth Lartz has been awarded a $1.1 million grant from the Department of Education to provide advanced training for professionals who serve infants and toddlers with hearing loss. The work will be funded for five years. The project is a continuation of work Lartz and the project's coordinator , Tracy Meehan, began in 2006 to help address the shortage of providers of early intervention services.
