MACKINAW- Toys are already piling up as organizers get ready for Sunday's Bikes for Tykes ride.
The ride will have several stops where riders can buy discounted toys to donate to Toys for Tots. But if you don't want to ride the whole 64 mile stretch, organizers say people can just show up at registration to donate.
The ride goes from 5:00 to 6:00 Sunday evening and people can also show up then at any of the stops to buy toys.
"The last four years have been really rough on a lot of people and a lot of people are out of work right now. And they all have families and all those families have kids. And kids want toys for Christmas," said organizer Joyce Deboer.
The ride starts at Goodtyme Charlies on Route 9 in Mackinaw. Registration starts at 10:00 in the morning and everyone can register that day.
There's no cost to ride, but organizers are asking that participants make a donation.
