The family of a McLean County girl fighting for her life says their daughter only has a few days left.

Doctors diagnosed three year old Alivia Gibson with inoperative brain stem cancer last December.

This year, the family went to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where Alivia received radiation treatments.

While their daughter's quality of life improved, this fall her tumor returned doubled in size.

Tomorrow the family is holding a benefit dinner for Alivia to help pay for medical expenses.

It takes place from three to 11 p-m at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bloomington.
