A former Peorian, who failed to appear in court with his wife 12 years ago for sentencing in a fraud scheme, pleaded guilty Wednesday in Peoria federal court. 65 year old Nelson Hallahan and 54 year old Janet Hallahan are each charged with failure to appear. The pair, who had been on the run since 2000, was arrested in Arizona last May after they were featured on America's Most Wanted TV show. Back in 2000, the Hallahans pleaded guilty to defrauding family and friends out of 1.7 million dollars from 1993 to 1999. Both Hallahans will be sentenced November 28th.
