The Pew Research Center survey released Wednesday found the presidential race is dead even 47 to 47 percent. 19 percent of likely voters say they have already voted. Currently, Romney holds a seven point edge among early voters. However, Pew says the Romney lead is statistically insignificant because of the small sample size. Gallup also showed a Romney advantage in early voting nationwide as well. At this point four years ago, Obama led John McCain by 19 points. Obama's team is using social media more heavily to turn out younger voters while Romney's team is focusing on older adults and seniors and using direct mail. Both campaigns also claim to have a strong get out the vote effort.
