BLOOMINGTON - Insurance claims due to Hurricane Sandy are starting to pile up quickly.
State Farm reported around 6,000 homeowner claims and 900 auto claims Tuesday.
But those numbers are skyrocketing just one day later.
The Bloomington-based company is now reporting nearly 25,000 homeowner claims and 4,000 auto claims.
Even more are expected as storm victims continue surveying damage.
