Video gambling has made its way to Bloomington.
Mugsy's Pub is one of the city's first bars to get the new machines.
The equipment got turned on last week, and staff members say so far it's getting lots of attention.
Games consist of penny, nickel, and quarter slots.
General Manager Don Jones says the games give people another reason to spend their dollars in Bloomington.
With more money kept in the city, everybody wins.
"It's additional revenue going into the public coffers and you know, hopefully some of that revenue trickles down to the businesses," Jones explained. "People having fun in a place where there's something new going on should be good for business."
Bloomington's Entourage Lounge is also set to get video gambling machines this week.
The owner hopes to see a boost in sales.

"Everybody wins"?? Please! Gambling requires many LOSERS to create a few winners. The public coffers get 30% of the public's losses. A huge 70% "trickles down" to the businesses.
