I 74 Detour Monday Night

IDOT says there will be a detour of westbound I 74 at Pinecrest Drive in East Peoria Monday night until about 5am Tuesday, October 30th. The detour will utilize the off ramp and on ramp of westbound I 74 at Pinecrest and is necessary for beam removal. Motorists using westbound I 74 should expect delays. Pinecrest traffic will be controlled by flaggers during this time. Pinecrest drivers should also expect delays. This work is part of the project consisting of beam straightening, beam replacement and other collateral work on the structure carrying Pinecrest Drive over I 74. The overall project should be completed in December.
