EAST PEORIA -- An East Peoria teen is inviting you to come check out a haunted trail in his backyard.
14-year-old Steven Keith is behind the spooky experience.
He worked on the trail for two months, getting ideas and donated supplies from area Haunted Houses.
Keith's trail is open to anyone who wants to visit. He said it's a project he and his grandpa have done together every Halloween for the past eight years, but he thinks this year is his best work.
Keith said, "I've always really been into Halloween and stuff because I always liked being scared and everything. So I mean, we started doing it because we used to do stuff like this for Christmas and one day I just asked if we could do it for Halloween so we quit Christmas and started doing this."
You can visit the trail starting around 5:30 PM on Halloween. Keith lives at 310 Frevent Ave. in East Peoria.
