BLOOMINGTON--Plans for an entertainment food mall downtown might have to be voted on again after dozens claim they weren't made aware of a liquor commission meeting last week.
Friday, commissioners approved a restaurant license allowing two downtown business owners to merge their establishments under one roof.
Six Strings Bar and Laugh Comedy Club want to open an entertainment center in the 300 block of North Main Street.
The proposal - shot down once already - is receiving criticism from neighbors worried about crime and noise in the area.
Those wishing to weigh in on the plan, say they never received notice informing them of the meeting.
The city says it did send out information, but an email glitch kept some people out of the loop.
A date to review the plan is still being worked out.
The proposed owners are in favor of another meeting.
