Bloomington Liquor Commission Rejects Gambling Bid

The Bloomington Liquor Commission voted Friday to reject a liquor license for Jackpot Joe's Cafe on Prospect Road, which is a proposed gambling parlor, according to our radio partner WJBC Radio. The liquor commission was uncomfortable with the fact video gambling was the driving force behind the liquor license. The mayor told WJBC radio there are already a number of liquor licenses in the area.
