Two Dead in Pontiac Accident

Two people were killed Friday in a traffic accident on Route 66 and Custer Avenue in Pontiac. The investigation has revealed a car was headed southbound on Route 66 and was turning left onto Custer when it was struck by a semi trailer towing a flatbed trailer that was northbound. Both occupants of the car were killed but their identities won't be released until Saturday. The driver of the semi was taken to a local hospital.
