COLFAX--The Central Illinois Small Animal Rescue shelter is now in foreclosure.
The center has been in a budget battle with Heartland Bank and Trust since last fall.
It owes $1.2 million dollars on a facility it constructed in Colfax nearly three years ago.
The operators say they're working with Morton Bank to get a $400,000 loan to pay down their debt.
They're also willing to give Heartland Bank everything they own, excluding their house.
The "no kill" shelter cares for 300 homeless animals.

They were not paying the principle of the loan- they should be foreclosed on- local animal shelters waiting to help these animals from these hoarders.
