CHS Acquires Pekin Grain Facility

CHS Inc, a leading energy, grains and foods company and the nation's leading farmer owned cooperative, announced Wednesday it has acquired the Tomen Grain facility in Pekin from Tomen Grain Company, a majority owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. The company says it is expanding its grain origination base along key, inland river markets. CHS markets more than two billion bushels of grain each year to customers in 60 countries.
