FULTON COUNTY - Each year in October - people from around the State flock to Fulton county to go back in time on the Spoon River Drive.
This year marked the forty-fifth anniversary of the Drive.
For two weekends - surrounding towns along the river promote their history and heritage.
People can stop at famous landmarks, buy hand crafted items, and get to pretend that they are back in the nineteenth century.
Chris Beaty, promoter or the Farmington stop Crafters Corner, says, "There really is interesting people to get to know and we really get to see some interesting and new things that you just don't get to see any place else."
The drive covers nearly 130 miles that includes sixteen towns.
