East Peoria House Damaged After Morning Blaze

EAST PEORIA- One East Peoria house is in ruins after fire fighters battled an early morning blaze on Sunday.
It happened in the 100 block of Sun Valley Court.
The owners were next door and are safe, but they say the fire killed four of their cats. It started in the master bedroom and there is smoke damage throughout the house.
The fire is still under investigation but fire fighters say it may have started from an air purifier. The owners say they have insurance and plan to stay with relatives.
