Cat Announces Additional Management Changes

One day after two group presidents at Caterpillar announced their retirements, two vice presidents have now elected to retire as well, according to a release from the company Friday. After more than 39 years with Caterpillar, Bill Springer , vice president of Diversified Products Division is retiring effective February 1, 2013. After 35 years, Gary Stampanato, vice president of Excavation Division, will retire at the same time. Four other vice presidents will now have new responsibilities because of these changes. Also Nigel Lewis was appointed as Vice President of EAME Distribution, Jim Johnson appointed to Vice President of Asia Pacific Distribution, Denise Johnson appointed Vice President of Diversified Products, Julie Lagacy appointed Vice President of Finance Services, and Tom Pellette appointed Vice President and President of Solar Turbines.
