Students Got A Special Preview Of Barnum Bash

PEORIA--Students from the Robert Jamieson School in Peoria got a special preview to this weekends Barnum Bash circus.
Their teachers took them to the Peoria Civic Center to play with some of the circus' talented dogs.
"Seeing the kids reactions when the animals come out is the best part of the job" says Jessica Clower, a traveling veterinarian with the circus.
Barb Schacht is one of the teachers at Jamieson school and says some of the students might not ever get the chance to see animals like this up close. She says giving them the experience to play with them will be a lasting memory.
The Barnum Bash kicks off Friday night at 7 p.m.. Adult tickets are 12$.
