Romney Surge Continues in Polls

New polling Tuesday shows Mitt Romney surging after his first debate. PPP/KOS , a democrat leaning polling group, shows Romney leading nationally by two points and a six point lead among independents. The Gallup poll shows Romney ahead in its daily tracking poll by two and while Rasmussen's daily tracking poll shows Romney with a three point lead in the swing state polling. Romney holds a 10 point lead among independents . Obama holds a five point lead among women but Romney has a 11 point lead among men. More importantly Romney now leads by six among those certain to vote. The IBD/TIPP daily tracking poll shows Romney with a two point lead and Romney favored over Obama by independents 52 to 34. A new ARG poll shows Romney ahead in Ohio using a D plus 9 sampling. Among independents Romney leads by 20. The vice presidential candidates will face off in their only debate this Thursday.
