Partial Closure of Fulton St. in Peoria

Beginning Tuesday, October 9th, CORE Construction will CLOSE a portion of Fulton Street in Peoria between Monroe and the alley that separates the parking deck from Sacred Heart Church. This lane closure is necessary in order for the parking deck crane to utilize the right of way to complete construction of the outside walls of the new deck. All but an 18 foot stretch of pavement closest to the Civic Center will be closed. There will be no parking on Fulton alongside the theater and drivers will not be able to travel northwest on Fulton past the alley. Traffic will be allowed to travel in one southeast bound lane. This lane will periodically be CLOSED as well for deliveries of parking deck segments and disassembly of the crane. During these events, CORE will provide traffic flaggers to control traffic. This situation is expected to last about two weeks.
