Fatal Crash in Rural Chenoa

Authorities responded
to a 911 call around 9:15 near Rt 24 in Yates Township.
Both the man and
woman were found trapped in the car without obvious signs of life and
pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say their
vehicle had been struck by a semi truck at the intersection of 3360E and 3100N.
Autopsies for the
victims are pending, and the Illinois State Police are looking in to what
caused the crash.
