Firefighter OK After Injured in House Fire

PEORIA- One firefighter was hurt as crews battled a house fire on Bourland avenue in Peoria Friday night.
Peoria firefighters were called to a vacant, boarded up house. They fought a fire at the same house several months ago.
Peoria Fire and Rescue said there was about $30,000 in damage, and investigators are still trying to find out what caused the fire. One firefighter was transported to OSF St. Francis Medical Center after being injured by falling debris.
He is now OK and expected to be back at work next week.
