Lane Closures I 74 East Peoria

IDOT says construction on the I 74 overpass at Pinecrest Drive in East Peoria is scheduled to begin Monday, October 8th. Lane closures are expected on I 74 near this location. Work will consist of beam straightening, beam replacement, and other collateral work on the structure carrying Pinecrest Drive over I 74. Motorists traveling westbound on I 74 at this location should expected intermittent lane closures, reduced lane widths, a reduced speed limit and off peak hour detours. The project is expected to be finished in December. Lane closures are also possible in the eastbound direction of I 74.
