Zoning Commission Approves Drive-In Theater

PEORIA- Landmark Cinemas is one step closer to having a permanent permit for its drive-in theater.
Thursday the Peoria Zoning Commission approved the proposal, now it's up to the Peoria City Council to vote on.
The Zoning Commission recommended some changes, like upgrades to the parking lot and landscaping. If the drive-in theater ends up being distracting to drivers on Dries Lane, the zoning commission wants the city to take further action.
City council will discuss the recommendations on October 23rd.
