Chillicothe's Rescue 33 Will Remain Suspended

PEORIA - Chillicothe's Rescue 33 ambulance service will remain suspended.
Peoria Area Emergency Medical Services suspended Rescue 33 last month, but Rescue 33 appealed the move. Thursday, The Peoria Area EMS Review Board issued its ruling. It says it has concerns with Rescue 33's leadership, funding, response times and several other issues.
Rescue 33 has the opportunity to submit a new system plan to Peoria Area EMS once the issues have been resolved.
Rescue 33 says it is extremely disappointed and plans to research alternatives.
