PEORIA -- Election day is just 34 days away.
If you still need to register, make sure you bring two forms of I.D. with you and one must have your current address.
The final day to register is Oct. 9.
If you can't make it before that date, you can register until Nov. 3 but you must vote on the spot.
If you know your schedule is busy on election day, Peoria Election Commission Director Tom Bride said early voting is always a safe option. "If they're worried they might not have time on election day I would defintiely recommend voting early and if they have any questions about registering make sure they call us or get online on our website and they can check to see if they're registered on our website too."
Bride said you do not need to show an I.D. on Election Day, unless you did a mail-in registry and did not show any identification yet.
