A Peoria Coroner's jury ruled the deaths of two accident victims as homicides. Michael Purifoy, Junior and Francis Howard, both of Peoria were killed in May in an accident at Route 24 and Banner Marsh Road. They were passengers in a car driven by Brandon Mack of Peoria who was indicted in August on three counts of aggravated DUI and two counts of reckless homicide. Police say Purifoy and Howard were unrestrained passengers who were killed when Mack's SUV turned in front of a garbage truck May 29th.
