BLOOMINGTON--A new set of golden arches have cropped up on the city's east side.
The eighth Twin Cities McDonald's restaurant is officially open.
A ribbon cutting ceremony took place there Tuesday afternoon.
Even Ronald McDonald himself took part in the celebration.
The fast food chain is one of many new developments on Bloomington's rural side.
Employees like Nicole Rixstine are excited for the opportunities it brings.
"Bigger and better things in the world, whether it's staying here and becoming a manager or going out and exploring other things, it'll help me with customer service, and anything," said Rixstine.
The new McDonald's is still looking to hire about 10 employees.
If you're interested, just stop by the restaurant on Trinity Drive and fill out an application.
