Mitsubishi Motors Reports September Sales Down

NORMAL- Mitsubishi Motors North America reported September sales are
down again last month but the automaker reported record high sales of
its Outlander Sport. Overall sales are down 17.2 percent in September
but Outlander saw a 49 percent jump in year over year sales. Mitsubishi
spokesman Dan Irvin says the overall numbers are misleading because
they're being compared to last year's sales which included the Galant,
Eclipse and Endeavor which are no longer produced.
