PEORIA- Bell bottoms and peace signs may not be the trendiest styles right now, but hundreds of women showed up to the Four Points by Sheridan Tuesday to get a blast from the past.
The Salvation Army hosted it's 60th annual style show. In honor of six decades the theme was 'Stylin' 60's.' It was a chance for local stores to showcase their latest fashions and all of the money raised goes to Salvation Army programs.
Organizers said they want it to be a treat for the women who attend.
"Every year we just look for a theme that kind of gives us a little spark, and everybody you know, of course everybody loves the music from the 60's and the clothes and so it's just going to be a fun day," said Evie Diaz from the Salvation Army.
WMBD's own Bob Larson strutted his skills on the catwalk. He volunteers to be a part of the fashion show every year and has been doing it for more than a decade.
