GREEN VALLEY -- A fire damaged a family's home in Tazewell County.
Three people lived in the home, but now are displaced after the morning fire.
It happened just after 9:00 a.m. at 209 Falcon Drive in Green Valley.
Five fire departments responded.
Assistant Chief Scott Terrill said they had the flames out in about 15 minutes, but he says that doesn't mean they didn't have issues.
"Rural fires are always difficult because there so far from our department and because of the difficulty of getting water on scene," he said.
Everyone got out safely.
A family member said the fire started in a bedroom, but the exact cause is still under investigation.
