PEORIA - A former Dunlap teacher who allegedly inappropriately videotaped students appeared in court Tuesday.
Gordon Mills, 51, was charged in Peoria County court with unauthorized videotaping for allegedly recording undergarments of students under the age of 18.
Mills, a former Dunlap High School teacher, resigned after inappropriate material was found on his computer earlier this month.
An investigation by school administration found video clips, from the current school year, taken with camera angles from the floor up in an attempt to view the clothed private areas of students.
Mill's bond was set at $7,500. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for October 25th.
