Chillicothe--There was a high profile funeral in Chillicothe today but it wasn't for a person.
Operator of the Town Theater in Chillicothe held a mock funeral for the film era. Mourners lined up at the theater on Monday to pay their respects to the century old method of watching movies.
The Theater is finally upgrading to digital equipment. They have installed new seats, surround sound speakers and a digital projector.
The upgrade cost more than $100,000 but the city and local charities donated money to help with the expenses.
The first digital movie will play on Tuesday September 25th at 7 p.m.
