Defense rules as Bears rip Rams

WMBD/WYZZ-TV STAFF - CHICAGO, IL - The Bears beat the St. Louis Rams 23-6 on Sunday afternoon behind a great performance from the defense.

Major Wright returned an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and the defense as a whole also recorded six sacks and two takeaways.

"I expect the offense to do what is required of them on that day.  Somedays we may have to score 41 points to win.  Other days it might be about ball security and make plays when we have to," said Lovie Smith, Bears Head Coach.

"Every position needs to improve, including myself.  Didn't play a perfect game.  Hard to play perfect.  Definitely there are plays we can improve on and move to next week," said Jay Cutler, Bears Quarterback.

The Bears play Dallas next Monday night.
