HUD Announces Job Grants In Illinois

HUD awarded Illinois more than $2.8 million in taxpayer funded grants to help public and assisted housing residents connect with local services to obtain education and training to find jobs. Among those receiving these federal funds: Peoria Housing Authority $48,695 in Housing Choice Vouchers and $49,515 in Public Housing Family Self Sufficiency Program and Bloomington Housing Authority receiving $51,782.
