Bloomington's State Farm Insurance is making changes to its agency support offices, and it could mean staffing reductions.
The insurance giant says the change is necessary to succeed in a highly competitive market.
State Farm notified its sales associates Wednesday.
These employees support State Farm agents.
Currently, there's one office in Bloomington as well as dozens across the U.S. and Canada.
It's not clear which will be affected, but State Farm says employees need to be flexible.
For some, it could require relocation or training for a new position.
No word yet when the plan will be implemented.
