A Peoria man, one of eight rounded up earlier this year as part of Peoria's Most Violent Offender Program, was sentenced Wednesday to 46 months in prison. 21 year old Tristan Shelton had pleaded guilty in Peoria federal court to being a felon in possession of a weapon. Shelton along with the other seven were arrested, authorities say, to tackle violence on Peoria streets. Two other men will be sentenced September 27th.
